Lifeblood puts enterprise agreement back out to vote: Time to have your say!

Dear Member,

IMPORTANT MEMBER MEETING NEXT WEDNESDAY 26 JULY – DETAILS BELOW

After weeks of inaction and refusing to listen to your feedback, Lifeblood have decided to put its proposed enterprise agreement out for a vote again in early August.

The agreement being put to vote has NO substantial changes from the offer you recently voted against.

Lifeblood is simply bringing forward the next wage increase slightly, using cost of living pressures to convince workers to vote in favour of an agreement with NO transparency over wage progression.

Lifeblood have still not given ANY information on how wages will be set under the proposed salary bands but have clarified it can’t afford to keep your increment structure over the life of the agreement.

This is an admission that removal of increments means less money in workers’ pockets!

What’s next? Your HSU organiser will be on site Wednesday, 24 July to hear your feedback and decide next steps as a collective. Bring your colleagues to the SPC lunchroom between 10am-2pm to have your say and take a group photo to show solidarity with members in southern states taking industrial action to fight back.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.

New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
