Laverty embarks on Major Change

Laverty Pathology have advised the HSU that they have made a decision to review their Operating Model across the Healius Group. You can read their correspondence here.

The HSU has significant concerns about the timing of the proposed redesign, with possible redundancies on the way. We’ve asked for more information about the full extent of the proposed redesign, but we haven’t yet received it.

Members at Laverty recently voted down a subpar wage offer. Appalled with a new offer with no real change save for a “sign on bonus”, members are now getting active and organising to win the changes that we need at Laverty.

Now, this organisation is threatening to make some front-line workers redundant while other workers are forced to pick up the extra work.
