The HSU has today successfully convinced HNELHD to implement sensible changes to the proposed management structure for wardspersons and security transitioning from HealthShare to the LHD in Kurri Kurri and Cessnock.

The agreed structure will come into effect on a trial basis from next Monday, 8 August 2022.

The management structure for all other HNELHD sites that are yet to transition have been under review since the HSU raised critical issues with what was proposed. We have been assured today that the proposed structures are nearly ready to be communicated to HSU members.

We will continue to fight for management structures that ensure members have appropriate oversight and reporting lines.
