The HSU has received correspondence from Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District about a proposed restructure of the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate.

The proposed change would merge the Southern and Northern Illawarra Hospitals Group into one Illawarra Hospitals Group (IHG).

The two Health Manager roles (HSM4) which oversee the Northern Illawarra Hospitals Group and Southern Illawarra Hospitals Group would be deleted, and a Director Finance and Performance (HSM5) and Senior Finance Business Partner (HSM3) would be created.
