You are invited to an important CPA members’ meeting this Thursday 17 October at 6:30pm.

This is an update meeting to discuss the recent issues that HSU delegates & members have been pursuing, including:

• The ‘shared benefit’ – the 50% of the salary packaging tax savings that CPA takes.
• The overtime potential underpayment – relates to how on some DSP payslips, overtime is moved from the day it is actually performed on to the last day of the pay period, which is Sunday. This means that if someone’s regular shifts include a Sunday shift & they perform overtime on a weekday, the additional overtime hours are moved to the Sunday (where the rate is already higher), effectively cancelling out the weekday overtime payment.
