Hunter Imaging Group: Bargaining Update
-
Published April 16, 2021
Following your ‘No’ vote to your proposed Enterprise Agreement, we have informed Hunter Imaging Group (HIG) of the need to recommence negotiations.
This was only made possible by members and non-members standing together to vote down a sub-par Enterprise Agreement.
We will meet on Friday 23 April 2021 to continue discussions. We will push for a higher rate of pay and pay parity between CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine. We have told Hunter Imaging that if they want a ‘Yes’ vote, they have to do better.
We want all staff to receive a detailed breakdown of proposed pay increases across all classifications, as we believe there are unequal increases for different employees. Pay increases should be applied uniformly. HIG has an obligation to explain why certain classifications should have received a 10% increase, while others only get 1.5% or 2% per year during the life of the Enterprise Agreement, if that is what they propose.
