HSU Members at RSL Picton contacted the HSU about some issues around the accrual of their annual leave extra entitlement. 

In the process of following up on those issues, the HSU discovered that members who had previously transferred over to RSL LifeCare on Department of Health contracts had not received this year’s 2.04% pay increase.

Following consultation with RSL LifeCare, we have received confirmation that the increase and backpay (to the first full pay period after the 1st July, 2021) will be reflected in the next pay period for the staff affected.

I want to thank those members for raising these concerns, and it’s great to see a win for members when there has been so much change at RSL LifeCare across the state.
