HSU members at Beaudesert Star have been discussing their conditions of employment and the importance of negotiating a new enterprise agreement.

Members decided to approach Whiddon management, to request that they be moved from the Star Gardens agreement to the Whiddon agreement, and to call for negotiations for a new enterprise agreement to commence.  

The discussion with Whiddon’s People & Culture team was constructive, with both HSU members and Whiddon agreeing that a transition to common terms and conditions within the Whiddon group is a shared goal.

At this stage, Whiddon have not decided how or when this transition would occur, but HSU members will continue to push this issue forward and we’ll keep everyone in the loop as discussions progress.
