Dear Member,

Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) have advised the HSU about a proposed extension of the trial of changes to SAU/ED Wardsperson/Cleaners at Belmont Hospital.

HNELHD said the ongoing trial within SAU/Edhas been quite successful and therefore it’s advisable to extend the trial for a further three months, ending 1 December 2024. According to HNELHD, there will be an evaluation in October 2024 to determine the success of the trial prior to any implementation, commencing December 2024.
