The HSU has received correspondence from HealthShare NSW to advise of their intention to alter the standard shift pattern within two areas at John Hunter Hospital serviced by the Patient Support Services department.

This proposal is for an initial three-month trial period effective from 27 May to 18 August 2024. HealthShare says that at the conclusion of the trial period a decision will be made regarding the change on a permanent basis.

HealthShare says a notification will be provided to affected staff during the PSS All Staff meetings held on 15 May 2024 at 10am & 3pm at JHH Small Lecture Theatre.
