Healthe Care: Important enterprise agreement update – new offer on the table!

Dear Member,

After months of bargaining Healthe Care has now provided what it calls a final offer to your log of claims, including a new wage increase offer.

Healthe Care has placed the following wage offer on the table:

  • A 3% increase on1 July 2024
  • A 3% increase on 1 July 2025
  • A 3% increase on 1 July 2026

The company has also agreed to several positive improvements from the HSU log of claims, including:

  • Increasing Family and Domestic Violence leave
  • Increase Laundry Allowance to be in line with the Nurse Agreement
  • Introduction of Stores classification
  • 10 days cultural leave
  • 5 days Union delegate leave

While this is a positive step - a 3% per annum wage increase does not keep up with the growing cost-of-living crisis and it’s up to members to determine if this offer is up to scratch.

It’s vital you have your say! Complete this short survey and have your say on this proposed offer from Healthe Care.

Next Steps:

A further meeting with Healthe Care is scheduled for Friday, 12 July where HSU members will provide final feedback on the offer. Regardless of your feedback, it’s highly likely Healthe Care will push ahead with putting the EA offer to vote shortly afterwards.
