HSU members recently raised serious concerns about the salary packaging arrangements at St Joseph’s.

Union members reported that up to 30% of their salary packaging entitlement was being retained by St Joseph’s, without the members’ agreement.

Your HSU representatives have raised this issue with St Joseph’s management, who have confirmed that the practice is being investigated and that it will stop immediately.

St Joseph’s management have also confirmed that members will now receive the full salary packaging entitlement.

There are serious concerns about how this arrangement occurred, whether members were properly informed, and how members’ money can be recovered if it has been deducted unlawfully.
