Following feedback from HSU members, Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District has provided the HSU with an update regarding their proposal to restructure the Illawarra Hospital Group Clinical Operations Directorate.

HSU members were invited to provide feedback on the proposal in August, which was conveyed to the District.

The District advises that they are now proceeding with the planned changes, commencing with notifying affected staff and recruitment to vacancies. The District advises that they intend for the new structure to be implemented in January 2025.
