Campbelltown Hospital Proposed Ward Changes

South Western Sydney Local Health District has advised the HSU of a proposed change to the bed base and ward configuration at Campbelltown Hospital.

SWSLHD states that they intend to create a 28-bed specialist orthopaedic and Short-Stay Surgical Unit (SSSU) by transferring 16 beds from ward B32 Orthopaedics and 12 beds from B21 SSSU to a new ward A71 Surgical in Building A, Campbelltown Hospital.

The District has also said that the proposed changes would also involve a change in reporting line and work location for the Ward Clerk (Administrative Officer Level 2 – AO2) for B21 SSSU.

SWSLHD has stated that there will be no change to the work role or grading of the position.
