The hard work of thousands of HSU members from across NSW has finally paid off.

For the last 12 years, HSU members have been at the forefront of fighting for the removal of the public sector wages cap. This cap has artificially pushed down the wages of health workers across the state.

But our fight isn’t over. The wages cap is gone, but Government needs to commit to significant funding for Award reform.

And the Government have yet to deliver one of their key election promises: 100% salary packaging for health workers.
