AWH alcohol policy BAC proposed change

Dear Member,

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) has advised the HSU of a proposed change to the AWH Alcohol and Other Drugs Procedure.

Within the AWH Alcohol and Other Drugs Procedure, a breath-test will be considered positive if the test result is greater than 0.05% BAC. If a result greater than 0.05% BAC is returned the test is to be readministered (the second testing) 15 minutes after the initial test.

AWH proposes to reduce the BAC level from the current limit of 0.05% to 0.00% for all employees to be considered fit for work.
