The Ministry of Health has written to the HSU, officially agreeing to commence Award negotiations. Our first meeting will be next week.

For over a decade, pay and conditions in NSW have fallen behind other states. The wages cap has made it impossible to bargain for better conditions. But now the wages cap is being removed, it’s time to take action to fix NSW Health awards.

Award negotiations are complex and challenging but HSU members are committed to achieve long-overdue outcomes to address the current crisis in Health.

All HSU members will be updated on the outcomes of next week’s meeting. HSU members will be coming together across the state in coming months to decide on the key issues for Award reform.
