The HSU Allied Health team continued to build momentum through the fantastic work of your Industrial Advisory Committees in October. Over 12 professions convened to discuss everything from Award reform, safe staffing, industrial disputes and building members’ collective strength.
Hospital Scientists Award case
Your Union continued to work to finalise the evidence in relation to New South Wales Health Pathologies proposed variation of the current Award. The HSU is fighting this variation in the Commission because it will have a negative impact on career progression, pay, and dignity for members.
Evidence is now finalised and will be submitted, with a hearing date set for late February.
Industrial Advisory Committees
Your Industrial Advisory Committees progressed the crucial and difficult work towards improving your Awards. Priority issues to be addressed are being finalised and will be taken to members shortly for debate and endorsement.
