The HSU has received correspondence from ACT Pathology about a proposal to expand the Molecular Pathology service at Canberra Hospital to a 7-day continuous service, including weekends and public holidays.

ACT Pathology says the reasoning for this change is to establish ‘position ACT Pathology to effectively meet future demands in diagnostic services and emerging molecular technologies’.
