Published July 21, 2021
As the number of cases continues to rise, the NSW Government has extended the requirement to get a COVID test every three days to workers living in the Canterbury Bankstown local government area.
This means that for all aged care workers who live in the local government area of Fairfield and the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area, if you work outside this area, you must have a COVID-19 test once every 72 hours (3 days) in order to be allowed to go to work.
For members in Canterbury Bankstown LGA this will come into effect at 12.01am Friday morning.
24-hour clinics can be found at:
- Roselands Laverty Pathology: Roselands Shopping Centre open air car park: Off Roseland Drive, Roselands
- Endeavour Sports Park: Maud Street Fairfield
- Mount Pritchard Laverty Pathology: 111 Meadows Road Mount Pritchard
If you’re experiencing difficulties getting tested or have any questions, please contact the HSU Member Services Division on 1300 478 679 or email [E-Mail not displayed].
Finally, I want to acknowledge the work you are continuing to do to keep our most vulnerable safe. While others can work at home, and some are required to stop working, you and your colleagues are essential and are there on the frontline every day. Thank you.
