Sub branches are a vital part of our Union, ensuring that issues affecting HSU members at a local level are addressed while also keeping members in touch with Union activity on a wider scale. Our Union is diverse and growing, with over 49,000 members. Local sub branches ensure members are engaged and supported. 

Members who take on roles within a sub branch make an important commitment to their fellow members to uphold HSU values and champion the rights of all members.  

Here are the important forms for your upcoming sub branch meetings: 

Sub branch nomination form 

You can nominate to be the President, Vice-President, Secretary or a Committee member. You will need two members to nominate you to be on your local sub-branch. Once you have filled out this form please return to your local returning officer.

Conference delegate nomination form

You will need two members to nominate you as the conference delegate. This year the HSU Conference will be held on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 July.  

Request for Absentee Voting Form

If you're not able to attend your sub branch AGM, you can submit an absentee vote to your returning officer.
