The HSU has received correspondence from Western Sydney Local Health District about a proposal to establish community palliative care services in the District from 1 July 2024.

WSLHD intends to provide 24/7 in-home care for palliative patients, including access to a specialist team, support for daily activities, counselling and bereavement support.
