Yesterday, Feros Care commenced consultation about workplace changes across the organisation. So far Feros has only provided dates for initial consultation meetings.

Your local HSU Organiser Kirk Rostock has written to Feros requesting current and proposed rosters, any proposed cuts to hours, and what management are doing to mitigate any adverse effects on members.

Group meetings will be held over the coming week. Members are encouraged to attend to any questions you have. Your Local HSU Organiser Kirk Rostock will also be at the following sites at the following times:

• Byron: Friday 3 June 11am - 3pm
• Bangalow: Monday 6 June 10am - 3pm
• Wommin Bay: Tuesday 7 June 9am - 1pm 

Individual meetings will commence next Monday and conclude 17 June. During consultation, you and you colleagues have the right to:

• Be consulted about the changes, to raise concerns and concerns to be addressed properly.
• Say no – contracted hours cannot be cut without your approval.
• Representation during consultation period, by your local HSU delegate, your local HSU Organiser or with support of the HSU Member Services Division.
