Congratulations! The Fair Work Commission has again determined ACL is a pathology company and not a medical practice, meaning workers can’t be forced to take leave over Christmas or other any other partial or full shut down!

This is great news for HSU members at ACL and maintains your right to take leave when you want!

Earlier this year, the commission ruled ACL was a pathology company – a decision ACL appealed. The appeal has now been completed, with the full bench of the Fair Work Commission once again ruling is not a medical practice.

This ruling is a great win for members – but wouldn’t have been possible if you hadn’t stood united and supported each other in the fight for your rights.
