Since last year, members at Macquarie Lodge Aged Care Plus have raised serious concerns about staffing levels and unmanageable workloads. Through multiple meetings, members have identified the issues and organised a petition to call for a Work Health and Safety meeting with management, collecting 72 signatures.

As a result of this incredible work from members, a meeting has been organised with senior management on Monday 7 March 2022 at 2:30pm.

On the agenda:

• The right to proper meal breaks
• Mental stress driven by workloads
• Unpaid work again driven by workloads 

The venue of the meeting will be announced by local management soon.
