It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of January already, which means the opening of the Clinical Acute Services Building (CASB) is fast approaching.

You will have received a newsletter earlier last week outlining some of the concerns we still hold around the new building, particularly the training and orientation of new staff prior to the 17th of February.

We will be holding a members’ meeting this Thursday 28th January to provide an update on the CASB, but also to discuss your rights in the event the new building opens without the promised additional staff having been employed, trained and orientated.
