The HSU has received confirmation from Hunter New England LHD proposing to completely remove Security Officers from Wallsend Health Campus. 

This is an absolute affront to health workers who work in a potentially unsafe and dangerous work environment. 

The HSU has called an emergency members’ meeting to discuss an appropriate response. The meeting will be held this Thursday 21 January at 2pm in the break room courtyard.

All classifications are encouraged to attend.
