The HSU has taken HNELHD to the NSW Industrial Relations Commission because of their failure to properly consult with the HSU about appropriate reporting lines for Wardspersons and HSAs transitioning from HealthShare to the LHD at Cessnock and Kurri Kurri.

During the urgently listed conference before the Commission, the HSU made it very clear that HNELHD’s decision to ram through the transfer without implementing sensible reporting lines or proper consultation, and not in accordance with what was agreed, was unacceptable and in breach of the Award.

HNELHD and the HSU are now beginning a process of proper consultation.
