Update: Hunter Imaging Group Enterprise Agreement
-
Published March 23, 2021
On Monday 22 March 2021, the Health Services Union (HSU) met again with Hunter Imaging Group (HIG) in order to express our concerns about the proposed Enterprise Agreement. At the meeting, the HSU specifically brought to HIG’s attention the following issues with the draft Agreement:
- No pay parity between Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, and MRI Technologists
- Mediocre pay increases under the proposed Agreement, which the HSU considers inadequate
- The term of the proposed Agreement being changed from 3 years to 4 years without any proper explanation
HIG advised the HSU that they would consider all of the issues that were raised and report back to the union. However, HIG did not contact the HSU after the meeting and sent an email to all staff stating that the proposed Enterprise Agreement would soon go out to a vote.
The HSU is of the view that all members at HIG should VOTE NO to the proposed Enterprise Agreement.
The HSU will be hosting a teleconference with members to discuss the proposed Enterprise Agreement and what this means for all employees who work at HIG. This teleconference will be conducted on Thursday 25 March 2021 at 5:30pm. You can join the teleconference here: https://zoom.us/j/92032654087.
It is important that all HSU members at HIG forward this information to their colleagues and vote NO to the proposed Enterprise Agreement. Non-members can join the union at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679. We are stronger together.
