The HSU continues to fight against long-term temporary employment to ensure members do not have to live with the endless discomfort of precarious employment and the significant issues it causes.

Since the HSU highlighted and agitated issues with long-term temporary contracts at Calvary Mater Newcastle, more than 20 employees in the Radiation Oncology Department have been offered a move from long-term temporary to permanent positions.
