Northern NSW Local Health District has written to the HSU about a proposal to introduce a 24/7 Health and Security Assistant (HSA) model into the Kurrajong Mental Health Unit.

The HSU is seeking your feedback, particularly from current security officers and HSA members, detailing any concerns or questions that you may have with management’s proposal. Please provide feedback to your sub branch executive, who are: Michael Reading (Security); Nathan Austen (Security); Matthew Millard (Wardsperson). 

A members’ meeting will be convened to discuss the feedback received, and to form a consultative committee to represent members’ concerns to management. Your HSU Organiser Michael Kearns can also be contacted via email [E-Mail not displayed].
