Healthscope has now confirmed they will offer back-paid wage increases! This is huge.

This outcome doesn’t come as a surprise – this past fortnight, hundreds of HSU members organised and signed our petition demanding backpay. Healthscope are now agreeing to back date any wage increase.

This shows there is power in a union when members take action!

This is a massive win for members who have been unrelenting in fighting for back pay, However the fight isn’t all over as Healthscope still have not provided a wage offer. We must keep the pressure on until they do and keep up the momentum. Reach out to your Delegates or Organisers to get more involved in our campaign.

Our next bargaining meeting is set for Wednesday 22 February. We will again be insisting Healthscope provide a wage offer for members to consider.
