Fresh Hope Communities has notified the HSU that Goodwin Aged Care is taking over ownership of The Glen Residential Care Service at Catillina, in Batemans Bay, on 31 January 2023.

We have been advised that all staff currently employed by Fresh Hope at The Glen will transfer to Goodwin with the same terms and conditions (including your current industrial instrument) as they currently have at Fresh Hope, and all leave and service entitlements will be transferred over to the new roles.

We understand that this take will come into effect from 31 January 2023.

We need to ensure your contracts properly reflect the hours that you currently work. All HSU members are encouraged not to sign any documentation, such as letters or contracts, until they consult with the union.

HSU organiser Meri Bosevski will visit all day Tuesday 15 November to assist union members with any concerns you may have. If you require representation from the union throughout this process, please ensure that you contact the HSU for assistance.
