SWLHD: Changes for linen supply officer duties – Fairfield Hospital
-
Published April 17, 2024
Dear Member,
Southwest Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) have advised the HSU about proposed change to soiled linen collection at Fairfield Hospital.
As part of the General Services review of staff across Bankstown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, and Fairfield hospitals, the SWSLHD discovered soiled linen collection practice undertaken by Fairfield hospital was inconsistent with other hospitals.
SWSLHD has now proposed a change in duties to include soiled linen from wards and departments, altering the position description.
