The HSU has received correspondence from South Eastern Sydney Local Health District regarding a proposed restructure of Clinical Program 1 at Sutherland Hospital. The proposed restructure would affect Sutherland Hospital members who work in the Critical Care, Emergency, Surgery, Anaesthetics 3 and Perioperative Services departments.

In accordance with section 35 of the Health Employees Conditions of Employment (State) Award, genuine consultation will occur with respect to the proposed changes. 

The HSU industrial team is currently reviewing the potential impacts of the proposed change on affected employees. We are now seeking your feedback, views and comments on the matter.
