Dear Member,

HSU allied health members have raised genuine WHS concerns regarding SNSWLHD’s proposal to find $50 million in cost savings. We will not accept this intent to save money at the cost of patient care, staff welfare, and our community wellbeing.

HSU members already perform work beyond their hours to keep critical services running and cannot sustain further cuts to budgets and staffing. SNSWLHD’s proposal will have a catastrophic impact. We need to come together to make our voices heard and stop the cuts to allied health.

Next steps

HSU delegates will raise member feedback at a Union Specific Consultative Committee meeting with management on 14 January 2025.
