Published January 29, 2024
The HSU has received correspondence from Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) about proposed changes to acute care workers after hours shifts.
SNSWLHD has proposed to eliminate after hours rostering of mental health acute care workers (ACW), including Saturdays and public holidays.
This proposed change has been brought forward after the establishment of Mental Health Consultation Liaison Nurse positions across SNSWLHD.
