SafeWork NSW, the NSW workplace health and safety regulator, has contacted the Health Services Union about the work you and your colleagues do in the disability sector. The organisation wants to learn more about the key workplace health and safety issues facing you in your daily work.
Workplace health and safety is a complex matter in any setting, but particularly so in the disability sector where legislation and practice can collide.
To get a better understanding of your work in this context SafeWork NSW are currently undertaking a sector-wide survey and want to hear from you and your colleagues. You can access the survey here.
The survey will be used to update the SafeWork NSW disability industry snapshot, which will be used to guide their work as part of their Health Care and Social Assistance Plan in the latter part of 2021.
