RFBI propose 2% pay rise - Important HSU meeting to discuss
-
Published June 14, 2022
All HSU members are invited to a special HSU meeting this Thursday at 5pm – see details below.
Last week RFBI, formally announced their intention to ‘roll-over’ the current enterprise agreement for another twelve months (until 30 June 2023) and pay staff a 2% wage increase from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2022. This would be paid in addition to the legislated 0.5% increase to superannuation also commencing from 1 July 2022.
RFBI has shown ongoing support for our campaign to increase the Aged Care Award pay rates by 25% – however, we need to acknowledge the proposed pay increase for 2022 is low. It’s now up to you and your colleagues to discuss the proposal and agree on our collective response.
