ADHSU members have voted to lift Red/Green bans from TODAY after seeking and receiving permission from the federal aged care minister.

With the backing of Minister for Aged Care Anika Wells and with the continued hard work and vigilance of PTOs, HealthShare can now proceed with its desired Stage 4 of operations.

This ban was an integral part of the Covid defence strategy that came directly from membership and was maintained until sign off from the Aged Care Community.

Moving forward, PTOs have the reassurance both HealthShare and Ms Wells have signed off and take responsibility for this phase of operations.

Members can be assured that other important matters, including roster discussions and - starting from next year - award reform, will continue to move forward.
