Your Bargaining Committee met again on Tuesday to keep advocating for a fair wage increase to recognise your contribution to Ramsay’s business – which made a net profit of $379 million last financial year.
We asked Ramsay representatives if they believe the current offer of 2.5% for this year and 8% over the next 3 years is fair and reasonable. They responded, “yes we do”. It’s clear that Ramsay think a real wages cut is what you deserve. What do you think?
While offering an insulting wage increase, Ramsay have also been undertaking a series of cost cutting measures, reducing staff via redundancies and reducing staff hours. At the same time, they’re acquiring a new facility in Orange and putting millions toward redevelopments and expansions.
Ramsay has shown their true colours – they seem more concerned about protecting their executive bonuses and company profits than valuing their employees.
