Today HSU members at Wyong Hospital came together to discuss the instruction that PSAs conduct transfers while a patient receives oxygen/saline treatment without a nurse escort.

PSAs voted unanimously: this is not acceptable.

The HSU is currently notifying CCLHD of a dispute due to lack of consultation and will be enforcing status quo. 

Until this despite is resolved no PSA should transfer a patient receiving oxygen/IV treatment without the presence of clinician.
