The HSU has received correspondence from NSW Health to advise that priority appointments are now available to all authorised workers (including health, aged care and disability workers) within Local Government Areas (LGAs) of concern.
These LGAs include the following areas:
Blacktown, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Paramatta local government areas and the suburbs of Caddens, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Erskine Park, Kemps Creek, Kingswood, Mount Vernon, North St Marys, Orchard Hills, Oxley Park, St Clair and St Marys.
A copy of the letter is available to view here and includes the link to book your appointment.
If you haven’t yet arranged a vaccination appointment, your Union strongly encourages you to do so. Our ability to reduce deaths, hospitalisations and the significant strain on the health system is dependent on a high proportion of the population being vaccinated.
If we are to return to normal, we need to do everything we can to protect our communities – starting with vaccination.
I thank you for the incredible work you are doing on the front lines to keep our vulnerable safe. The bravery and selflessness of HSU members makes me proud to belong to our great union.
