As you have been made aware, multiple private hospitals across NSW have paused non-elective surgeries to assist in combating COVID-19 and have redeployed staff to assist with the efforts at vaccination hubs.

As a result, some employers are encouraging staff to take annual leave, reducing weekly hours to under 20 hours and standing down some employees in areas where activity has completely ceased should staff not be able to be redeployed.
