You will recall from previous newsletters that the HSU negotiated with a number of Councils to allow untimed free parking for health workers during the pandemic.

Parramatta Council was previously one of the Councils supporting HSU members during the pandemic. However, the Council has recently contacted the HSU to advise that enforcement of parking restrictions will resume once again as of 18 July 2022.  Members are urged to again observe the normal parking restrictions to avoid fines.

The HSU continues to advocate for affordable parking for all health workers. We will update members with any further developments.
