NSW Health Pathology has invited the HSU to participate in discussions regarding their proposed new policies dealing with the qualification requirements and progression of Technical and Scientific Officers. Qualifications and the requirements for progression has been a long running issue for many members. The HSU needs your assistance to ensure the policies are workable and reflect the needs of members.
 
The HSU has requested a Union Specific Consultative Committee, including delegates, be formed in relation to the proposals. The HSU will be guided by the advisory committees recently established for Technical and Scientific Officers and soon call for the involvement of delegates in this important work.
