NSW Health Pathology have decided to go ahead with their proposal to trial altered shift times for the Microbiology Laboratory at Orange.

This will involve changing the current weekend shift of 0800 to 1630 worked by two employees on a trial basis to:

• One weekend shift of 0800 to 1630, and
• One weekend shift of 1130 to 2000.

The trial will commence on 12 June 2023. A Union Specific Consultative Committee has been convened and will meet on 10 July 2023 to discuss the impacts of trial and any feedback.

Please make sure you collect all relevant information about the impacts of the trial and attend the above meeting when invites are provided.
