Northcott is proposing a restructure which would affect some Service Coordinators. The proposal is to employ only one Service Coordinator to work across two group homes for a selection of 30 specific houses.

Your HSU representatives have requested information about which 30 houses this proposed change would affect, along with all other information about the proposed changes.

Northcott has now provided a letter and an FAQ document.

These proposed changes would halve Service Coordinators numbers to 15 and if redeployment is not possible, severance payment and redundancies have been discussed.

The proposed consultation process is as follows:

• 7-17 November - Consultation held with individuals directly affected (including meeting and time to respond in writing)
• Week starting 20 November - Discuss as to our final decision with each pair and consideration of relevant next steps
• Week starting 27 November - Implement proposal
