Late last year, NNSWLHD advertised an Allied Health Director role for Mental Health which was not open to Psychologists to apply for. This significantly disenfranchised Psychologists, despite making up 30% of the LHD workforce. This was unacceptable to HSU members.

Members rallied and resolved to put in place work bans, the HSU met with management – all stood strong collectively to say we deserve better!

We now have an exciting update we want to share with Psychologists across the LHD. Please join us this Friday 10 March at 12.30PM for a 30-minute zoom meeting with your local Union reps to discuss and endorse the proposed offer to resolve this dispute.
