Port Macquarie Base Hospital management has formally notified the HSU of a permanent expansion of beds in Ward 1B. You can read the correspondence at this link.  

The HSU has been advocating for additional resourcing at PMBH since an initial dispute in late 2020. While there are no figures for Food Services, the HSU will be seeking clarification from HealthShare around additional resourcing consistent with the increase in beds and report back to members.
